The Life and Times of a Romance Writing Mama!

I'm trying my best to understand how an 8 year-old and a 5 year-old can have such snotty attitudes. everyday when I pick them up from school we go through the same thing. Every. Flippin'. Day.
Me: "Hi, Sierra, how was your day?"
Sierra: "MumbleGrumbleGrumbleRoar."
Me: "Oookay. Xanny, how about you, poot? How was your day?"
Xander: "MumbleGrumbleGrumbleRoar."
Me: "I missed you guys today."
All Together Now: "MumbleGrumbleGrumbleRoar."
As I'm typing this I can hear them upstairs...Sierra barking commands and Xander crying because, well, because he's Xander. Lordy, it's still 3 hours until bedtime. Pray for me.
I could really use a hot bath and a strong cup of coffee. But for now I need to feed the little darlings. I'm thinking raw meat!
All I can say is..."MumbleGrumbleGrumbleRoar"
I had to LOL at this entry. Your kids sound just like mine. Daughter age 9 (almost 10) and son age 5. There are some nights that they're actually getting along. On those nights I'm loathe to send them to bed. "But they're actually playing together!"
